SAP WM implemented at -18°C

Dirafrost is specialised in the production and distribution of frozen fruit; the product range includes fruit purees, coated fruit salads and different types of coulis. Dirafrost is member of the Agrana Group with headquarters in Wien (Austria).

In Herk-de-Stad Dirafrost owns a warehouse to store 10.000 pallets under an automatic controlled temperature of -18°C. Also storage at external partners in Belgium and other countries is used.

The SAP implementation at Dirafrost included the modules FI, CO, MM, QM, PP, SD, TM and WM. While almost the whole implementation was done by Austrian in-house SAP specialists from Agrana, SAPSTROOM was chosen as WM implementation partner.

Starting in September 2008, the implementation traject was executed in less than 6 months. As planned the go-live was on March 1st.

And from the first day warehouse operations are successfully managed with SAP WM. Dirafrost is now ready to tackle the “high season” starting in April with an integrated information system.
